Help In Time of Need
A Spiritual Perspective
I'll start by setting up this article up with the fact that at the time of this writing, I've set some BIG visions for my future.
REALLY BIG.
Although the desire has been there for as long as I can remember, prior to discovering many of the things I have over these past years, I now understand that at one point in the past, these desires were no more than just "wishful thinking." The difference between now and then is that now I have a solid internal picture, a plan that I know can get me there as well as the time and ability to take the inspired action (most times) that I feel led to take.
These current visions held, are far bigger visions than I would have previously dared set, prior to what I refer to as "awakening" to what I have come to believe to be "Higher Truth" concerning the limitless potential that we all have been provided. Much of the time I'm able to see and feel these visions set as being fulfilled, at times with crystal clarity, but there are also those times when, based on what "appears" to be happening, and letting what is known as the left brain analytical side of me dominate, I get caught up thinking how in the world somebody like me is going to be able to pull this off. On those days, for those of you who have been around long enough and remember, it's much like the old cartoon with a little angel sitting on one shoulder and the little devil sitting on the other and the argument is on.
As a result I sometimes have to step in and act as my own mediator. At times this mediation leans toward my perception of the spiritual, sometimes science, sometimes considering and pondering on the unfolding of the perfection of nature and sometimes even a mix of all three at the same time. (Those are REALLY fun J )
One thing I have discovered an "Inner Knowing" about is that regardless of which you might choose to lean on for your own understanding and comfort in time of need, when observed deeply and closely enough they ALL lead to "One" understanding and enable you to come to the same conclusions.
Now if I shared that concept with some, they might think I'm a little crazy, (although I promise I'm not) but I thought that maybe for those of you who lean more toward a spiritual understanding regarding the unfolding of life's events, you might benefit from me sharing some of the challenges, questions and doubts that occasionally arise in my own life, and how, depending on my frame of mind that day, I am able to readjust my "thought processes" and get back on track. Today that how leans more toward the spiritual. More specifically what I consider to be helpful wisdom that I've acquired from my study of what I believe to be what is left and available to us of spiritual texts. For those that can relate to this form of understanding, maybe it will assist you today or at some point in the future should you need it. For those that don't please be patient, keeping in mind that it may prove to be of benefit to someone else.
With all that said I'll continue……..
You can call these occasional little internal conversations talking to God, inner dialogue, rationalizing with myself or whatever. "What" it is isn't important, but the fact that it helps me to readjust my focus and get back on track when I need it is.
OK with the understanding of where all this comes from, (sort of) I'll carry on with the intended message…….
I was sitting behind my desk the other day staring at my dream board, reviewing my affirmations and thinking about these visions mentioned earlier. Looking for some needed answers I asked, "How can I best achieve this first phase of my vision and acquire a million dollar income enabling me to enter into the next phase I'm envisioning which is to further expand my beingness as well as my doingness and better reach the world with the message I have to share?
The answer was….
"Whatsoever ye desire when ye pray believe that ye receive and it shall be given you."
I understand that I said, at an intellectual level at least, but it seems at times that my mind, my ego, memories of previous experiences or whatever it is wants to take over and bring me back into check. I mean let's face it, this is a BIG mountain we are climbing here….
The answer was….
"Believe that ye receive and it shall be given you."
"If ye say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done"
Although I know the power behind those truths and that we're not suppose to allow it, sometimes the fear factor kicks in and slows me down. I know it's based on old false beliefs that flare up sometimes, old experiences that I've encountered, the "appearance" of things in the physical world, but sometimes they seem so difficult to overcome and at times I feel separate and really alone. In fact sometimes those things that I develop fear about really DO happen, further validating those concerns, so it makes it even scarier sometimes.
The answer was….
Consider the recorded accounts of Job when he said….. "That which I "feared" most "has" come upon me."
And remember…..
"As a man thinketh, so is he." But I say……
Be anxious for "NOTHING" but in "ALL" things through prayer and supplication, with "THANKSGIVING" make your requests known unto God and the peace of God which surpasses "ALL" understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
"For I the Lord thy God shall hold thy right hand and say unto thee, "FEAR NOT" for I will help you."
Thank you, deep down I know you will. And really down deep, I DO understand the importance of gratitude and staying in the "now" as well as the "know" about outcomes. I guess sometimes I look at the physical results, even though I KNOW intellectually how the process works, and amazingly, even after personally experiencing such profound "miracles" in my own life, I still sometimes fall into doubt. As an example, I sometimes allow myself to begin questioning if I'm really doing the right thing. All this work that I've done and as I look around it sometimes seems that the fruits are so few. As you know, I did jump off the deep end into this based on the direction that I thought…. No scratch that…. that I "knew" I was receiving. I do have physical obligations to take care of and a family that I "really" desire to provide more of the luxury type stuff for like I used to. Sometimes I allow my thoughts to shift from that "knowing" I experienced at the time to sometimes wondering if those who attempted to deter me and told me that the choices I've made concerning what I am doing wasn't being "logical", might not have had a valid point.
The answer was….
But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work "shall be" rewarded. "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"
"If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?"
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Above all remember……
"As a man thinketh, so is he."
WOW!! Now That's POWERFUL stuff!! You're absolutely right. Hey, listen to me… Of course you are. There for a second I forgot who I was communicating with. Ok, here's something that I sometimes get a little confused by. Most of my life I've been taught that it takes really hard work for things to get done, that WE must "make" it happen. Although I understand the power of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Resonance combined with heartfelt desire, and that we should then wait for the signs and direction that we feel are inspired before taking action, sometimes the human side kicks in and I feel it's necessary to take this or that action, RIGHT NOW sometimes even when it doesn't feel right. You know to "make" things happen. Mainly it happens when the answers don't come as quickly as "I think" they should….
The answer was….
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these"
"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
You know, when I look around at nature and really tap into the "Oneness" of everything that becomes REALLY obvious. Although down deep I "know" that, there are times when I forget, so thanks for the reminder. It seems I need a lot of those.
Maybe you can help me out with this one. What about so many in the world who laugh and call us "New Agers" and say that this Law Of Attraction stuff is a bunch of nonsense. Even though I know in a deep place that it's not, sometimes from a human perspective it can make you a little angry when… say the media or various religions attempt to convince people it's not true and go so far as to attack those that spread the word concerning limitless potential. What's the best way to deal with that? I mean let's face it, at this point we really aren't the majority.
The answer was….
"Forgive them, for they know not what they do."
"Judge not and you shall not be judged."
"Make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Well, now that you mention it, I have been in a spot a few times and the words do seem to just flow and come out of nowhere. So, that was you huh? Ok, how do you explain this energy stuff? You know, "Oneness." I know we've got Quantum Physics and all that to validate it but that can be a little deep and confusing to some. I mean so it's REALLY clear and simple so even a 5 year old can comprehend it.
The answer was….
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
"God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
"At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."
Well that pretty much aligns with what I've come to understand but thanks for validating it. You know one question that keeps going through my mind is, if what I am doing is right, and I really feel it is, why is it that we who make the choice to really commit to finding deeper truths concerning how things in life come to be, and making the choice to share it with others are such a small percentage?
The answer was….
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Well, that pretty much takes care of that doesn't it? You know, when I was actively involved in man made religion, they told me that meant something "Completely" different. You make it sound MUCH more pleasant and not nearly as scary. J You've sure got a way with words don't you?
Ok, one last thing and I'll let you get back to work. I know you must be busy. Sometimes the mind can get a little noisy with all the family obligations, technology, traffic, hustle bustle and stuff. What's the best way to shut it all out and connect with you when we get a little overwhelmed with it all?
"Be still and know that I AM God."
I know from personal experience that by becoming still, for me it's meditation, that it IS effective. I just wanted to make sure that it was the BEST way. Are there any other benefits to becoming still other than easing the stress and anxiety of day to day life?

"You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free."
Wow, you are SO AWESOME. Actually I already knew that, I just wanted you to validate it for me. Thank you so much for taking this time out for me. There are times when I let my analytical mind get in the way which complicates the simplicity of the plan laid, and I start second guessing things. Thanks for bringing me back on track. I feel MUCH better again.

Yea, Down deep I know that, it's just this short term memory of mine sometimes…..we've been through that already haven't we?
Hey, I kind of hate to ask but should I need a little encouragement again, (and I'm fairly certain I will) what's the best way to get ahold of you. I mean it's not like you've got a cell phone and………..
"Be still and know that I AM God."
OK, that I DO have figured out, but how about those times when it's difficult to still the mind. You know, when the chatter won't stop and it's difficult to connect at that deep and peaceful place?
The answer was…..
Know this…….
"Lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world"
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and "DO" them, that ye may prosper in "ALL" that ye do.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
But above ALL, ALWAYS remember...
